Friends and Partners in Space (FPSPACE) 1996 Workshop

In April 1996, a group of people associated with the Friends and Partners in Space discussion list visited various Russian locations associated with the Soviet/Russian space program. This tour included visits to locations including:

• Russian Space Agency
• NPO Energia historical spacecraft museum
• Yuri Gagarin Cosmonaut Training Center at Star City
• Monino historical aircraft museum
• Orevo rocket and spacecraft instructional center
• TsUP Mission Control Center in Korolev
• Bauman Moscow State Technical University
• Moscow Aviation Institute

And at the end of our visit, we had a marvelous banquet at the Ostankino Tower revolving restaurant. All the participants in this first FPSPACE workshop had a terrific time
